Start with the problem, not the technology.
Few clients ask us for a firewall. They're opening a branch, facing an audit or recovering from a bad week.
Common situations we solve
-
Opening new branches
You're adding offices faster than your network was designed for. Each new site takes weeks to connect, is configured slightly differently from the last, and nobody at head office can see what's happening there.
- A standard branch design: same equipment, same configuration, same security policy
- Branch links managed centrally from head office
- Phones and Wi-Fi ready when the branch opens
Services used

Passing a security audit
A regulator, auditor or major customer has asked for evidence of your security controls, and you have a deadline. You need to know where the gaps are and close them quickly.
- A gap assessment against the standard you're measured on, such as ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS
- Penetration testing that produces a prioritised fix list
- Fixes applied, retested and documented as evidence

Moving to the cloud with minimal disruption
Your servers are due for replacement, or email and file shares have become a maintenance burden. You want to move to the cloud, but the business can't stop while you do it.
- A clear decision on what moves, what stays and what it costs over five years
- Migrations run in stages, out of hours, each with a rollback plan
- Security and backup configured before users move, not after

Replacing an ageing phone system
Your PBX is out of support, spare parts are hard to find, and calls between branches still go over expensive external lines. You want a modern system that links every branch.
- An IP phone system that links every branch over your own network
- PABX supply and installation
- Voice communication and radio systems for operational sites

-
Getting IT off your team's plate
Your IT team is two or three people spending every day on password resets, patching and fixing printers. The projects the business actually needs keep slipping.
- An annual maintenance contract covering monitoring, patching and 24x7 support
- Licence and support renewals tracked for you in one place
- Extra engineers for a project when you need them, without hiring
Services used
-
Recovering from an incident
Ransomware, a compromised account or a failed server has taken systems down. You need them back, you need to know what happened, and you need it not to happen again.
- Incident response, containment and restoration from clean backups
- A forensic investigation of how the attacker got in and what they reached
- A hardening plan, with backups tested so the next restore is routine

Your situation isn't listed? Most of our projects are a mix of these. Describe yours and we'll tell you where we'd start.
Questions we're often asked
If yours isn't here, email info@alsandaraict.com and an engineer will reply.
What do you actually do?
We design, build and support IT infrastructure: networks, storage, servers, software and end-user devices. On top of that we cover cybersecurity and IT governance, penetration testing and forensics, cloud and edge, telephony, and managed IT under annual maintenance contracts. The services page explains each one.
Can you work with the equipment and vendors we already have?
Yes. Every project starts with an assessment of what you already run, and the design is built around your sites, your budget and your team's skills. Where existing equipment is still good, we keep it.
We have an ISO 27001 or PCI-DSS audit coming. Can you help?
Yes. We help with ISO 27001 certification, PCI-DSS compliance, COBIT and SSAE 16/18 assessments and information security management system audits. We start with a gap assessment, then fix, retest and document what the auditor will ask to see.
Have you worked in our sector?
Probably. Our projects include oilfields, banks, a telecom operator, government ministries, hospitals, an international airport and a university. See our projects for the full list.
How do you keep our data safe?
In three layers. We control who can get in, with identity and access management. We watch for threats, with security monitoring on your network and devices. And we make sure you can recover, with backups stored where an attacker can't reach them and restores that are tested on a schedule.
Who looks after it once it's live?
Clients can keep us on under an annual maintenance contract (AMC). It covers 24x7 support for servers, storage, mobility and end-user devices, plus monitoring, patching and renewals.
Recognise one of these? Let's talk it through.
A call with a senior engineer. Bring the problem; we'll bring a plan for the first step.
