Why we started

Alsandara ICT Consulting was founded in 2013, in response to a pressing need for consulting that improves the quality of project delivery and the share of projects delivered as planned.

We kept seeing the same gap. Organisations in the region could buy the same hardware as anyone else, but rarely got the same engineering discipline around it. Networks went live without documentation, firewalls were installed and never reviewed, and support stopped once the invoice was paid.

So every project starts with an assessment and a written design, and every change is tested before it touches production.

Our roots

Alsandara belongs to a consortium of related companies whose story starts in 1991, when Mazen Alsa'ad Computer Center (MSCC) was established in Baghdad to trade in and service office automation equipment. Six years later, MSCC opened Wahab Technical Supplies in Dubai and Sara Technical Supplies in Jordan. Sara Technical Supplies was part of the group's journey in those years.

Wahab Technical Supplies still operates in Dubai, serving the Iraqi and UAE markets with IT infrastructure, security and networking solutions, and has a branch in Basra for oil and gas ICT and SCADA projects. Audiviz Technologies, based in Dubai, designs and implements ICT, e-learning, audiovisual and low current systems in Dubai and the GCC.

    Mazen has 32 years of regional experience in Iraq, Jordan and the UAE, focused on advanced networking and infrastructure. He sets the company's standard that nothing goes live without a written design and a tested rollback.
